Michael Kops is a Vice President and Partner.
He joined Heartland in 2009 and is responsible for relationship management and new client development across all channels of distribution. The majority of his time is spent with research teams and analysts focused on active value managers.
Kops came to Heartland from The Novo Group, where he remained on the Board of Directors until it was acquired in 2021.
His prior experience is with Morgan Stanley and Strong Capital Management.
He received his degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
