Jeff Kohl

Jeff Kohl is a Relationship Manager.

He returned to Heartland in September 2019 and is responsible for relationship management and new client development. He has a long history with the firm as he initially joined Heartland in 1996 as part of the Shareholder Services Team and later transitioned to Intermediary Sales working with Registered Investment Advisors.

He briefly stepped away from Heartland in 2015 to become National Advisory Sales Executive at Fenimore Asset Management.  He was responsible for managing and guiding business development across all channels of distribution. Additionally, he worked closely with investment management and marketing creating marketing materials and advisor correspondence.

Prior to joining Heartland, Kohl spent three years as a Financial Consultant with Smith Barney working with high net worth clients.

He earned his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
