Investment Minimum

An initial investment of $1,000 is required to purchase shares in one of the Heartland Funds. This requirement is waived for new accounts created with an automatic investment plan.

Automatic investment plans can be established during the initial application process or at a later date. These plans require monthly or quarterly withdrawals of at least $50 from a bank account. The sum automatically will be invested into your Heartland Funds account.

How to Open a New Account by Mail

1. Complete the account application form
2. Fund the new account by providing bank information on the application form or enclosing a personal check payable to Heartland Funds*
3. Mail to one of the following:

   *To fund an account by wire transfer, call the Shareholder Services Team at 800-432-7856. Third party checks, money orders, credit card convenience checks, and cash are not accepted.
