Open an IRA (Traditional, Roth, or SEP) Account

Investment Minimum

An initial investment of $500 is required to purchase shares in one of the Heartland Funds for a traditional, Roth, or SEP IRA account.

Automatic Investment Plans

Automatic investment plans can be established during the initial application process or at a later date. These plans require monthly or quarterly withdrawals of at least $50 from a bank account. The sum automatically will be invested into your Heartland Funds account.

How to Open a New Account by Mail

1. Complete the IRA account application form
2. Fund the new account by providing bank information on the application form or enclosing a personal check payable to Heartland Funds*
3. Mail to one of the following:
